Cons: 18 mm some CA's
Pros: 24-55mm very sharp and very few CA's flower groups sharp until corners of image
Summary: very nice precious lens on f8-11 for a kit lens very sharp results

Cons: Corner sharpness at all focal length not at kitlens level. To expensive for a 18-55 kitlens upgrade.
Pros: Decent build quality. Lightweight. Very high center sharpnes. Good colors and contrast. Silent and fast autofocus.
Summary: It's a joy to work with this lens, even in rainy weather. Nice multipurpose walk around lens, but to expensive for the optical quality. I bought this lens for a reasonable amount of money, together with my K5, as part of a payback action. Normally it's to expensive for a "kitlens".
